Roatan fundraiser

Roatan residents are incredibly community-oriented, ensuring that new transplants to the island are welcomed and that neighbors are supported for the greater good. You can see from the number of posts I’ve done on fundraising events and community gatherings that this isn’t a one-off annual charity event kind of place. Roatan is filled with people doing good all year long.

Each year in March, an all-day music festival is held at the meadow at Lawson Rock in Sandy Bay. The Music Festival for the Angels benefits both Clinica Esperanza and the SOL International Foundation.

If you are in Roatan during this event, you simply cannot miss it. Take a look at the Roatan Travel Network‘s video highlights from the 2015 Music Festival for the Angels:

Here’s a write-up I also did for Roatanet.com about the 2016 festival, with ticket prices and event details included. And here is the promotional poster for the 2016 event:

Go have a fun day listening to tons of talented musicians, enjoy great food from a variety of local restaurants, and support two fantastic causes.
